    Compassionate, professional responsive in-home care

I'm very pleased with the compassionate, professional in-home care my family received. The team was friendly, knowledgeable and responsive-even after hours-and they went above and beyond to make the process smooth. Caregivers and nurses were attentive, efficient, and accommodating (Spencer was awesome). Grateful for their high-quality, caring service and long-term support.

    Summary of reviews

Overall impression Intermountain Health Home Health - Mt. Pleasant is described largely in positive terms for clinical quality and interpersonal care. Reviewers emphasize compassionate, professional caregivers and a knowledgeable nursing team; bedside manner and clear explanations of tests and care were recurring strengths. Families also highlighted an efficient, pleasant office experience and after-hours availability, and several comments reflect ongoing relationships with providers. Caregiver quality Clinical competence and interpersonal skills are the strongest patterns in the feedback. Nurses, anesthesiologists and other clinicians are characterized as competent, kind and thorough; reviewers specifically noted that staff explain procedures clearly and address needs during visits. Accommodations for patient preferences (for example, providing headphones) and examples of staff ‘‘going above and beyond’’ suggest a patient-centered approach in routine interactions. Communication and office management Office staff are generally described as friendly and helpful, and many reviewers found the agency responsive to inquiries. At the same time, there are indications of occasional administrative lapses: a failed follow-up on a CPAP order and a review-link mix-up point to gaps in tracking or documentation. Those gaps appear to be operational rather than clinical; addressing follow-up workflows would likely improve the overall experience. Reliability, scheduling and urgent needs Scheduling and provider continuity receive positive comments, including long-term loyalty and responsiveness. However, one negative account about a long ER wait and unhelpful coordination highlights a potential weakness in urgent-care transitions or responsiveness under emergent circumstances. This suggests that while routine scheduling and shift coverage are reliable, families should clarify protocols for urgent situations and hospital coordination. Billing and value Cost concerns are present in the feedback: at least one reviewer cited unexpectedly high out-of-pocket expense after insurance. This points to a need for clearer pre-service billing discussions and verification of insurance coverage. Prospective clients may want to request upfront estimates and confirmation of what insurance will cover to reduce surprise charges. Management implications and notable patterns Taken together, the reviews portray an agency with strong clinical staff and a patient-focused culture, tempered by episodic administrative and coordination weaknesses. Strengthening follow-up procedures, documentation accuracy, and urgent-care coordination would address the primary operational concerns raised. For families selecting this agency, the practical next steps are to verify billing arrangements, ask about follow-up and escalation processes, and confirm how urgent hospital transitions are handled.
