Live Well Home Care

    Compassionate professional home care service

I'm very satisfied with LiveWell Home Care - kind, professional, punctual caregivers and nurses who were patient, attentive, and helped my mother stay safely and independently at home. Management (Melissa is supportive), reliable cleaners and friendly drivers made coordination easy; I would use them again and highly recommend them, with only minor room for improvement.

    Summary of reviews

Overall impression: Reviewers portray Live Well Home Care as an agency with strong front-line caregiving. Caregivers are frequently described as compassionate, patient, and respectful; families emphasize attentive one-to-one care, warmth that creates family-like relationships, and practical assistance that helps clients remain at home longer. The agency is also credited with professional nursing support, thorough home-cleaning services, safety assessments, and polite transportation — all factors that contribute to perceived value and aging-in-place support.

Caregiver quality and reliability: Caregiver competence and bedside manner are consistent themes. Multiple reviewers noted punctuality, reliable shift coverage, and caregivers who go beyond basic duties. In addition to personal care, reviewers singled out cleaning teams and nurses as thorough and professional. These strengths suggest the agency is effective at matching caregivers to clients and maintaining positive, supportive day-to-day care relationships.

Communication and shift administration: While many families praised punctuality and helpful office staff, a contrasting pattern emerges around office communication. Several reviews describe difficulties getting timely updates, unanswered calls, and inconsistent communication from management. These communication gaps have practical consequences for families who need regular status updates or quick schedule adjustments.

Scheduling, management, and accountability: The review set includes operational concerns that prospective clients should probe further. Comments indicate inflexible or unfavorable scheduling policies and broader management or administrative instability. There are also mentions of hiring-practice and equity concerns. In at least one instance, there were allegations of a household-property incident coupled with perceived weak follow-up; other families described abrupt discontinuation of services after incidents. Together these items point to potential weaknesses in incident-handling protocols, human-resources practices, and continuity planning.

Value and recommended due diligence: Families commonly perceive strong value in the agency's ability to keep loved ones at home and to provide compassionate, respectful staff. However, because communication, scheduling flexibility, hiring practices, and incident accountability emerged as recurring concerns, prospective clients should ask specific questions before contracting: how the office communicates schedule changes and incident outcomes, what the agency's hiring and equity policies are, how shift coverage is guaranteed, and how incident investigations and client-continuity decisions are handled.

Bottom line: Live Well Home Care appears to offer high-quality, compassionate direct care and useful ancillary services (nursing, cleaning, transportation) that many families find supportive for aging in place. Balancing those strengths are operational risks related to office responsiveness, scheduling practices, management stability, and incident accountability; these are areas worth clarifying during intake and before service start.
